The Partner ACS is an analog product. It starts as a 3 line and 8 telephone capacity system that can expand to accommodate up to 15 lines and 40 telephones in a typical scenario without the larger Partner Mail systems. The system does not support T1 or direct inward dial applications, but it does support an integrated DSL card whose application is still unclear in most customer scenarios. Avaya has significantly enhanced the Partner feature set in recent years, but its capabilities are still somewhat limited. However, it will meet the needs of most general business applications, which do not require direct dial service.
