The 816 Plus system is an analog product that starts as a 4 line and 8 telephone capacity system that can expand to accommodate up to 8 lines and 16 telephones.  After over ten years on the market it still continues to sell very well It is available with both speaker and display telephones.  The 816 Plus is a very price competitive system for offices that expect to stay within its size range and do not need some of the features of the digital telephone systems.  Samsung's Starmail voicemail system can be used with the 816Plus system.  However, we do not recommend the 816 Plus system for customers that are planning to purchase a voicemail system as part of a new telephone system installation.   A key feature of the 816 Plus system is that each 816 telephone has lighted buttons, which show the status of every other telephone on the system.   The station selection buttons allow users to quickly call other extensions and transfer calls.  The systems also offers flexible ringing, and the ability to quickly set up speed dials for call transfer to external voicemail systems.
