CHANGING THE MAIN COMPANY GREETING ON A SAMSUNG STARMAIL VOICEMAIL SYSTEM
1. Call the voicemail system from a telephone.
2. Enter the administrator password.
3. Enter 655# for the function number.
4. Enter either 1 for day or 2 for night for the branch ID followed by #.
4. The system will play the daytime greeting. If this is the greeting you want to change press 1 when prompted and record the greeting as per the instructions. Press 1 to end the recording. If you also want to change the nighttime greeting follow the prompts for that greeting as well. Many companies have just one greeting, which plays both during daytime and nighttime hours. If that is the case, you do not have to worry about the nighttime greeting, since it probably doesn’t exist for your company.
5. Hang up.
CHANGING THE TIME ON A SAMSUNG STARMAIL VOICEMAIL SYSTEM
1. Call the voicemail system from a telephone.
2. Enter the administrator password.
3. Enter 320# for the function number.
4. The system will play the current time. Either enter the new time in 12 hour format followed by # or hang up if the time is correct.
5. Enter either 1# for A.M. or 2# for P.M. at the system prompt.
6. Hang up.
ACCESSING A USER MAILBOX ON A STARMAIL VOICEMAIL SYSTEM
1. Call the voicemail system from a telephone.
2. Enter the administrator password.
3. Enter 560# for the function number.
4. Enter the mailbox number to be accessed followed by #. Enter # again at the confirm prompt.
5. Program the mailbox as per the mailbox user's guide.
6. Hang up.
MANUALLY CHANGING BETWEEN DAY AND NIGHT MODE
1. Call the voicemail system from a telephone.
2. Enter the administrator password.
3. Enter 425# for the function number.
4. Enter 1 for day mode or 2 for night mode followed by #. Enter # again at the confirm prompt.
5. Hang up.
